Become a Host

An ideal host is someone who...

• Enjoys learning about other countries and cultures.
  
• Spends time with students to help them feel at home.
  
• Provides new students with information about the home rutine and neighbourhood.
  
• Shows new studends how to get to school for their first day of class.
  
• Provides varied balanced meals and takes time to find out what the student likes ti eat.
  
• Is consistent with students about maintaining the house rules and schools policies.
  
• Every new student is just that, NEW!, new to Canada, new to your home, new to the school. It is important to treat every student like your FIRST.
  
• Keeps the School Accommodation Coordinator informed if any serious issues arise and is open to hearing suggestions from the Coordinator.
  
• Consistently supports HSP standards and policies.
